This chart pretty much summarizes why I left. I wasn't "offended", I wasn't guilted (although many others were), I didn't want to sin, I didn't want to ruin my "Eternal Family" (Mormon heaven already has that covered), I wasn't disobedient, It wasn't because I didn't read my scriptures.. I've read the Book of Mormon at least 20x.
The reason I left is because they lied to me for my entire life and now the church is putting out "LDS Gospel Topic Essays" that confirm everything I've been saying for the past 20 years about the church.
I've been accused of spreading "anti-mormon" lies... Here are a few of them that now the church confirms are indeed facts:
1.
