Why was Joseph Smith arrested before he was killed?

Good. Why did he destroy the printing press? What was it printing?
Brother: I don't know.
I think this is one of the most basic questions about the history of Joseph Smith. Why was he killed? It shows how much history the church hides. Basic history of JS life, and they don't know the answer.
I don't usually press beyond those two questions. It becomes obvious that they don't know the history of the church. And I just let them stew on it.
